Since 1994 Dora began working in Eugene/Springfield area with adolescents and families through Looking Glass,New Roads Program. Dora transitioned to work on the Oncology Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center in 2002 working with patients undergoing active cancer treatments and patients facing end-of-life.  In 2004 Dora joined Hospice of Sacred Heart and Little Stars Pediatric Program serving adults, children and familiies living with life-limiting illnesses.  Dora's focus has been on developing the Little Stars Program which serves children, adolescent and families affected by life threatening illnesses and provides education and consultation to health care professionals.  Currently Dora continues her work with Little Stars Pediatirc Program and Hospice of Sacred Heart and runs a part-time private practice specializing in individual, child and family therapy.  Her focus remains on issues of coping with stress, family dynamics, strained relationships, child and adult chronic illness, grief and loss and bereavement in families' lives.
